3 SICUR gas alarm detector for 12V cigarette lighter (propane, butane, narcotic gases)

Description

Gas detector for recreational vehicles equipped with a highly sensitive sensor capable of detecting propane/butane, carbon monoxide and narcotic gases.

The instrument is self-calibrating and emits an audible alarm signal. A back-up battery (optional, not included in the delivery package) guarantees the functionality of the device even in the event of a power failure. The 3-Sicur can also be used on the move or can be installed and permanently connected to the power supply.

It is equipped with a single button for start, stop, test and reset, LED signalling lights and a 12 V socket.

Mounting:
Find a place indoors where the device is protected from water, rain, washing jets, dust, etc.
Place the device on the wall opposite the cooker, oven, etc.
The position of the detector depends on the type of gas you want to monitor first:

• LPG / Propane / butane: place the detector 20-50 cm off the ground (propane/butane gas is heavier than air and tends to concentrate on the ground)
• Carbon monoxide: place the detector at least 1.5 metres from the floor.
  
• Narcotic gases: place the detector in your sleeping area
