The correct cable is selected on the basis of the maximum current that must pass through that system. The table below indicates the cable size and its correspondence to the maximum current (for cables up to 5 metres total length - if there are 2 cables, the total length is the sum of them). If you can't find a thick enough cable, use two cables per connection rather than one very thick one.
