Caratec gas alarm detector (propane, butane, narcotic gases, carbon monoxide)
Description
CEA103G gas presence warning device. It detects all common gases such as propane, butane (LPG), carbon monoxide or narcotic gases and warns with a very loud alarm tone before the anaesthetic effect of the gas kicks in. The CEA100G reacts to even the smallest amount of gas in the ambient air, protecting both humans and animals.
If the sensor detects a gas concentration in the ambient air, it generates a 40-second pre-alarm. If the gas concentration does not decrease during this time or even increases, the sensor emits a continuous alarm tone and the red LED stays permanently on. If the gas concentration drops, the gas sensor returns to standby mode.
The gas sensor must be powered directly from the vehicle's 12 V mains. Up to 2 additional sensors can be connected. Additional sensor can be ordered here
