Fiamma A20 expansion tank for water circuits in caravans or motorhomes

Description

The expansion tank is used in water circuits with pressure switch pumps or with submersible pumps AND unisensing valves (fitted after the pump, in the pressurised zone of the circuit). It ensures a uniform, pulsation-free water flow. If the water consumption is low (e.g. short starts), the water pump does not start. In this way, by reducing the on and off time, the life of the water pump is prolonged and the vehicle battery discharges more slowly.

The expansion tank can be mounted in any position. The air is under constant pressure in the flexible membrane. With a bicycle pump, the air pressure can be adjusted as desired. It is optimal if the pressure of the expansion vessel (preset at 0.9 bar / 13.05 psi) is close to the starting pressure of the water pump.

The expansion tank does not require its own power supply and is compatible with all pressurised water circuits (use with Fiamma Aqua 8 water pumps is recommended)
