Description
The Blue Smart IP22 Charger is a mains charger with built-in Bluetooth for charging batteries from the 230V mains. Via Bluetooth it monitors voltage, current and changes the settings if necessary. With up to 93% efficiency, these rectifiers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. The Blue Smart Charger features a microprocessor-controlled "adaptive" battery management system. The adaptive function automatically optimises the charging process depending on how the battery is being used.

The Blue Smart IP22 IP22 charger is the wireless solution to monitor voltage and current, change settings and update the charger when new features are available.
High efficiency
With an efficiency of up to 94%, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. and once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5 watts, five to ten times better than the industry standard.
6-step adaptive charging algorithm: test - bulk - absorption - absorption - reconditioning - floating - storage
The smart blue charger features microprocessor-controlled "adaptive" battery management. The adaptive feature will automatically optimise the charging process in relation to how the battery is being used.
Storage mode: less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use
Storage mode is activated whenever the battery has not been discharged within 24 hours. In storage mode float voltage is reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimise gassing and corrosion of the positive plate. Once a week, the voltage is raised to the absorption level to "equalise" the battery. This feature prevents
electrolyte stratification and sulfation, a major cause of early battery failure.
Also charges Li-ion (LiFePO₄) batteries
LiFePO₄ LiFePO₄ batteries are charged with a simple absorb- float algorithm.
NIGHT and LOW setting
In NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to max. 50% of rated power and the charger will be totally noiseless. The NOAPTE mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be switched off manually.
Protected against overheating
The output current will reduce as the temperature rises up to 50°C, but the smart blue charger will not fail.
