Rechargeable steel LPG tank with multi-valve and fill level indicator, 15 litres, height 385 mm

Description

LPG cylinder with multi-valve and fill indicator (indicates when the cylinder is full and when it is empty). This model has a diameter of 300 mm, the same as a standard 11 kg cylinder, and can be easily fitted in its place and refuelled with LPG at any filling station in Romania or across Europe.  In most European countries, refuelling with LPG is only permitted using special LPG cylinders or tanks that are ECE 67R-01 approved. Refilling can be carried out:

• directly into the cylinder using an extension hose and adaptors for Romania (DISH), the Netherlands (bayonet), Germany (ACME) or Spain (Euronozzle), which must be purchased separately. 
  
• via the filling nozzle (not included in the pack), which can be fitted to the vehicle’s side panel or service door and can be purchased separately here

What is the difference between standard gas cylinders and refillable ones? The CAMPKO refillable LPG cylinder is fitted with an overfill protection mechanism that prevents overfilling by limiting it to 80 per cent of the total capacity. If the cylinder is filled beyond this level, under certain conditions (e.g. excessive heat) there is a risk that the liquefied gas inside may expand and damage the valves, taps, filters, etc., or even cause an explosion. It is not possible to control the 80 per cent safety level in the case of a conventional cylinder that is filled with LPG manually.

In addition to the overfill protection mechanism, the CAMPKO cylinder/tank is fitted with a safety valve designed to open at a pressure of 27 bar.
