Description

Sika Butyl SLR 710. It is ideal for use when fitting hatches, manholes, manholes, ventilators and exterior outlets.

Apply to structures, bodywork, which may need to be dismantled at a later date.

SikaLastomer-710 is a butyl paste which hardens at room temperature resulting in an elastic sealant. It is intended for situations where subsequent removal is necessary.
SikaLastomer-710 has good adhesion without primer when used as a sealing compound for glass, aluminium, wood, metal, rubber, plastic, etc.

Chemical properties:
SikaLastomer-710 shows good resistance to water, diluted chemicals and marine conditions.
SikaLastomer-710 is not resistant to organic acids, caustic solutions and solvents.
SikaLastomer-710 also shows good resistance to ageing and UV radiation.

Application method:
The product is to be applied on clean, dry surfaces, free of traces of oil, vaseline, at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
Remove excess material with a spatula or knife. It can be removed immediately or one day after application.

Coating time: 10 - 30 minutes
Complete hardening time (varies according to film thickness and climatic conditions): 2-10 days
Operating conditions: -30°C to +80°C
