Sika MultiSeal BT self-adhesive sealing tape laminated with aluminium foil
Description
Sika MultiSeal BT butyl rubber based multifunctional sealing tape, laminated on one side with aluminium foil. Use for sealing or quick repairs against water or air penetration on caravans, motorhomes. Can also be used in visible areas and can be painted. Resistant from -30°C to +90°C.
Application: the substrate must be smooth, clean, dry and free from contamination. All particles of dust, paint, rust or other loose adhering materials must be removed by hand or mechanical means. Metal, plastic, etc. substrates require proper cleaning with a solvent (e.g. Sika® Cleaner-205).
Application temperature min. 10°C / max. +40°C. At temperatures below +10°C, the tape and substrate must be warmed before and during application.
