Description

The floor mounted air conditioner is compatible with both caravans and motorhomes. It is mounted in the vehicle's garage or any other available place at floor level (under the bed, in the wardrobe, etc.) and then the cold air is distributed to the desired areas through the tubing (to be purchased separately) attached to the 3 holes. Mounting the central unit at floor level has the advantage of NOT altering the vehicle's centre of gravity, which is particularly important for caravans.

The Truma Saphir Compact air conditioning system is recommended for medium-sized caravans or motorhomes. The system not only cools the air but also dehumidifies and purifies it. The Truma Saphir Compact weighs only 20 kg, is extremely compact and very economical to run. The air flow is evenly distributed through the three air outlets. With the tubing and other accessories, the vents can be positioned in different ways in the vehicle - concentrated in one place or in different rooms.

Additional purchase is necessary for mounting:

• tubing for air distribution to the desired areas
• connections, vents, clamps
• air inlet grille which ensures the air supply to the appliance from outside.

Truma Saphir Compact at 230V and has a power consumption of 2.8 A. In order to be able to operate while running, it is necessary to connect it to an inverter with a min 1800W nominal power. If the auxiliary battery is used as a power source, a consumption of approx. 650W/hour, i.e. approx. 54 Ah at 12V per hour, must be taken into account.
