Set of 2 pcs refillable LPG tank, aluminium, with multivalve and filling indicator. Set contains:

• 2 "Alugas" aluminium LPG tanks with multivalve and filling indicator. This model has the same diameter as the classic 11kg (300 mm) cylinder and can be installed in its place and refuelled with LPG from any station in Romania or Europe. The conformity certificate for Alugas tanks can be downloaded from https://alugas-service.de/alugas.php by entering the tank serial number.
• 1 connection set between the 2 tanks
• 1 1m hose for simultaneous supply of the 2 tanks
• 1 external supplynozzle with 90° connection for external supply of the LPG cylinder / tank. To be installed anywhere on the external wall (or on the service door of the cylinder compartment) of the caravan or motorhome.
• 1 DISH adapter for LPG fuelling from stations in Romania (for fuelling from other countries you need to purchase adapters separately: Holland (bayonet), Germany (ACME) or Spain (Euronozzle) .
  

What is the difference between standard and refillable gas cylinders? The Alugas refillable LPG cylinder/refillable tank is equipped with an overfill protection mechanism that prevents overfilling by limiting it to 80% of the total capacity. If the cylinder is filled above this level, under certain conditions (e.g. excessive heat) there is a risk that the liquefied gas inside may expand and damage the valves, taps, filters etc or even explode. The 80 per cent safety level is not possible to control in the case of a conventional cylinder that is filled with LPG in a homemade way.

In addition to the overfill protection mechanism, the ALUGAS cylinder/tank is fitted with a safety valve configured to open at a pressure of 27 bar.
